Band Camp

Welcome Musicians & Families to the VPHS March N Spartans!

​

Every year the VPHS March N Spartans attend Band Camp. This is a fun and intensive time where we learn our new march and field show music, be trained in marching skills, and prepare the new Field Show choreography for the upcoming football season. 

​

When:  Battery Camp begins 3 weeks before school starts.

              Band Camp begins 2 weeks before school starts.

Both of these camps run Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to Noon. With individual help and sectionals occurring from Noon to 2 pm on those days. 

​

HELPFUL BAND CAMP TIPS:

• Wear clothing suitable for outdoor exercise including hats and sunscreen.

• Wear tennis shoes.

• Bring a water bottle.

• Get a good night sleep and eat breakfast each day!

• Bring your instrument (if you need one, we can issue this the first day of camp).

• Be prepared to have fun and make new friends!

• Did we mention hydrate?
